I'm starting on a Thankful journey with my Thankful Journal.
At some point of our life, we will compare or even judge. Psychologically, it's a "human" thing to be comparing & judging.
I felt it's how you handled that comparison or judgment that determines who you are.
There's some dayre-dramas going on for the past few days. This shows that whatever thoughts that you shared online will never be private or personal. It's out there, it'll be judged & scrutinized by others. I guess that's one of the reason why I no longer share so much on Dayre?
It takes a lot of tenacity to be writing normally & keeping silent in the midst of all, I salute those who are able to do it. And me, I'm still trying to balance the sharing here.
On one hand, it set me thinking why do people want to be so judgmental or comparing? On the other hand, I knew the answer very well.
As cliche as it sounds, quoted from Plato/Ian Maclaren:
Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
I guess it's just human to compare & judge?
I'm not perfect & I'm guilty of it too.
And I'm learning to have a greater capability & tenacity to cope with whatever judgment or comparison that makes its way into my life.
I guess I've became very "bo-chap". I have to admit that for a period of time, I got so absorb into what others say(more than just social media) & it got me so affected. But I'm glad to say I've passed that phrase in life.
Change is the only constant to improve.
On a side note, my job searching has been quite stressful.
When you just started out, you'll feel stress because of uncertainty & you are worried that it might be tough to get a job.
When you have offers/opportunities coming in, you'll feel stress too because you don't know if you are making the right choice.
I hope by mid-May, I can write: It's my FIRST day at work! *fingercrossing
I want to learn to be more thankful & count the blessings that I've been given.
On to happier stuff.
#LoveBonito just launched!

Carted this in navy. I've saw the yellow version during the workshop & I love the design. Yellow is slightly sheer so I decided to get Navy instead.
Tried Fresh Fig for the first time!
Worn my #HollyHoque top out & I love it a lot.
Paired it with a pair of shorts for a casual date with my girlie at NUS. Unlike a lot of off shoulder tops, this top is made of good & thick material & I love the thick elastic band too.
We had Mentaiko Wagyu beef bowl at <WAA COW>, located at NUS University Town. Bigman used to rave to me about this beef bowl so I'm glad I got to try it for myself.
I love the combination of Mentaiko with the beef, I guess if you are a lover of Mentaiko sauce, you'll love this.
Love her deep deep deep 😘😘!
Worn the embroidery top out too! Tied the end to make it into a cropped top to match with my high waist pants.
Close up of the embroidery. I'm not a floral person but this is very beautiful.
Outfit to Arezzo with Shine!
Love this geordie in hot pink!! M fits nicely with slight allowance at PTP. I'm not sure why but I felt that the top has a smaller cutting than dress because the dress in S fits me more than the top!
And the black is a classic to keep!!
Dinner was Army Stew at Seoul Yummy & it's quite yummy!
Came across this IG account. This pair of parents bought a school bus, revamped it into a "Home" & brought their kids to explore USA together in this "Home".
I showed this to Bigman & I told him that I hope in future, we will have the courage & finances to do this with our kids.
It'll be so fun to watch the kids grow up learning about the world through experience rather than books. I know that we can't be away for 2 years but maybe 2 months?
