Singapore Gourmet Bus

I am excited to experience Singapore Gourmet Bus, a first-of-its-kind dinning experience in Asia. Who can say no to this exciting Moving Dinning Experience?

The luxury gourmet bus together with a gourmet red carpet greeted us at Suntec entrance. The chef of the night was Glen and the service that was rendered towards us added on to the whole experience positively.

Upon boarding the bus, we were greeted with luxury seat and the lighting of the bus added on to the atmosphere for the dinner. You should have heard how we “WOW-ed” when we saw the whole set up.

There was a 3D short movie which will be shown on the table in front of you. The short movie was quite a fun and interesting one. You have to catch it yourself!

Happily boarding the bus and feeling comfortably immediately. To be honest, I didn’t expect myself to love the ambience and atmosphere of the bus so much. It feels so cosy with the limited number of guests on board too! Can you see the colorful decoration at the top of the bus?

Dinner set serves Indo-Chine cuisine and the appetizer was Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls and Signature Seafood & Chicken Crispy Spring Rolls. I’m not a Vietnam food lover but I polished off everything on the plate because they tasted quite good. I guess the great ambience and atmosphere with the great view that we get increased our appetite.

Second dish was Stir-fried Vegetables with Basil and Chillies.

The main course was Lemongrass Rubbed Grilled Chicken of Savannakhet! You have to eat this with the chilli provided, tasted really good.

After 45 minutes of enjoying our meal and enjoying the view of Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, Fullerton Hotel and many iconic places of Singapore, we were dropped off at Garden by the Bay for a 20 minutes of light and sound show.

It was retro night at Garden by the bay and there are many activities going on at the Super Groove tree area. When we reached, it was Zumba night. We went a little high seeing how the crowd danced together with the dancers and we joined in the fun too. Coincidentally, I was dressed up as retro too.

After dancing for 20 minutes, I was super duper high because it was so fun!

After we are done with the Zumba, we had to head back to the bus where we continued our journey back to Suntec with our Mango Sticky Rice.

I have to say, the whole experience was something new and great. I didn’t expect myself to enjoy it so much. After BIB is back, I will definitely book a slot and experience this with him. I strongly recommend this for couples who are looking to experience new things together and even for family with kids above 5 years old.

There are a total of 2 shows in total. Lunch show (1.00pm-2.30pm) cost SGD57.00++ and serves Chinese cuisine such as Samsui Ginger Chicken and dim sum. Dinner show (7.30pm-9.30pm) cost SGD97.00++ and serves Indo-Chine cuisine as I have shared above.

For both lunch and dinner show, the places that you will get to see will be Singapore Flyer, The Esplanade, Fullerton Hotel, Merlion Park, National Art Gallery, Chinatown, Marina Bay Financial District, Gardens by the Bay,
Marina Bay Sands and the Fountain of Wealth.
