That pretty much sums up our first night in Melaka. Took a luxury bus(KKKL) at 7.00pm from Paya Lebar down and reach our hotel at 1am. There wasn’t any food available except for room service which turns out to be exceptionally good.
Woke up and had the hotel breakfast. I had to say that I’m very impress with Hatten Hotel service. The food was so-so but the view was good. We cabbed out to the historical places & Jonker street. Visited the very nice Baba & Nyona Museum. It’s really worth a visit & im so glad to visit this authentic heritage place. Had some Melaka food and I really don’t find myself liking the chicken rice ball. Prefer the chendol more. Was happy to stumble upon pretty floor tiles & MaMee museum.
We went back to hotel to freshen up and went to the sky lounge to chill. Dinner was Satay Lok Lok at Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup. My first Lok Lok experience was great and we had a total of 50 sticks. After the dinner, it was shopping time at the malls near Hatten Hotel. H&M was relatively cheap so I managed to grab some items there.
On our last day, the sky was clear and we had a splendid view of the sea & Melaka city. We went to Restoran Nyonya Makko for authentic Peranakan food. It was awesome and we love the food a lot. Cheap & delicious.
That ended my short Melaka trip which I enjoyed a lot but was super tiring. I guess it was a good bus ride in & very enjoyable short trip. I can’t wait for my other holiday trips.
