Finally gotten the chance to try Fat Cow. Located at Camden Medical Center, it’s 3 bus stop away from Orchard MRT. You’ll need to make reservation 2-3 weeks in advance for weekend lunch and we were glad that there’s still seats even thou we called 3 weeks in advance. The Fat Cow Donburi was very nice, the waygu beef was cooked till perfection that it melts in my mouth. Bara chirashi was a little disappointed, I wish there’s more sashimi given. Overall, very happy with my meal. Definitely going back to try The Fat Cow Donburi.

Went to venture a new cafe at Everton Park called “Chew the Fat”. The baker is a graduate from Paris LeGordon Blue. Do take note that their cakes are imported, only a page of the menu is actually baked by e baker. We tried the banana cupcake & brownie which is baked by the baker. The banana cupcake is too sweet for my liking while the brownie tasted quite good. Don’t think I’ll ever make my way back again unless I know they expand their menu.

Dinner at Ember was another disappointment. We tried their appetizer and only the Foie Gras tasted good. The Foie gras soup was a huge disappointment, it tasted like some herbal soup instead of Italian dish. But still, it was a birthday dinner celebration for Boo and she loves the ambience of this place. Definitely not going back too!
Tried the “Mama Shop” cafe opened by local celebrity. It was somewhere up a hill where it’s tough to get by even with car. The food was pretty unique but there’s a cat roaming around which spoilt the whole tea-break. Guess I’ll not be going back again because of the location & cat.
So that is what I had on a single Saturday. #fatdieme
